Weddings

To all hoping to see Annalisa's gorgeous wedding of smiling faces, folk music, and farm people. It was a giant pot luck, flower-lined Row boats, and a beautiful beaming bride dancing in a sun speckled, horse roamed, green fields with quiet ponds interrupted only by an occasional songbird....you can't as my camera batteries died as I went to take the first picture...so tough luck.

To those wanting to see the techno-blasted Evangelists wedding of my cousin, you're in a little more luck as I have some pictures, but of low quality, as the lighting in the church wasnt good enough for my camera.

The rehearsal Dinner, I was labeled "Ben Gold", and we each got personalized Chocolate bars with cats in marriage gab pictured on the front. The food was very sub-par. But we snuck in some drinks. Mosco-Mule..come highly recommended, and with a free copper cup (if you're my cousin).

The wedding was not really....traditional. Like wearing a Leopard skin bra to church...

The Groom walked down the aisle in a rent-a-kilt and knee high boots. Phil actually took the brides last name, so they are now Phil and Rebecca Gold. Not what I would have expected given the recent family strife.

The bride walked down the aisle singing (two people becoming one angel song),

and the first dance was a Poy? thing (balls on astring you swing around) to techno, with the bride in black skintight body suit. The room had internet cartoons and a bunch more of those cheesy cat pictures with cutesy sayings in bad English (like in the invitation). The wedding was exactly Rebecca, and it looked as though she thoroughly enjoyed the event. All in all, went off without a hitch.

The reception had only soda to drink, so like good jews we snuck in a case of champagne and liquor. The food was surprisingly decent, as I was told we'd have only a few cheeseplatters. Overall, not your typical event, but Rebecca and Phil looked very happy, and I guess in the long run, thats all that really matters.
