Almost time for "that jew holiday thingy....you know the one with the candles"

yes.....yes I think I know this one.... This was the conversation between 2 dollar store employees when I asked to see if they had Hanukkah decorations.

On related Hanukkah news, my room-mate Teryk made me a menorah using what I imagine is some kind of electronic magic.

Every time you press the button on the far side of the menorah, it lights another candle.


Also, Alex wanted what we agreed to call the holiday bush. As I refuse to kill a tree for fun and games this is a branch of a very large and still healthy and living tree, adorned with lights that we commandeered from the mantle of the house that have been there since the day I moved in almost 3 years ago.
