As you may/should know, I work for the Cardiology department at UCSF. One of the major initiatives is called Health-eheart. This project is to create a large anonymous database of health information that can be used to predict/diagnose/aid research. For example, a researcher for a certain ailment may see that there is a strong correlation to something they thought was completely unrelated, or a researcher may want to have some data about people who have had reoccurring atrial fibrillation. Using this database, this makes this part of the research much, much more inexpensive.
And if you are thinking "I dont care about research.... F- those F-ing F-ers," well then, know that we have companies who give out swag to those enrolled. You might just get something cool. So enroll today (it takes a while to complete their questionaires):
