Before we go to Maryland, Ben is currently stationed at Karen's house where he is working on his newest commission, the Art dog sign in stained glass. It's going to be a big one. The sketches are complete, just have to color plan, get more glass, and then the project can begin in earnest. It's gonna be awesome. Living with Karen has been great, however, as those who have been in Karen's house know its full of surprises. When you reach in the fridge (mostly full with condiments), you never know what you'll pull out or if its supposed to be that way, or is several years past its due date.
Is it a finely aged sage derby? Or a muenster gone horribly wrong. Karen has been a much appreciated host and sponsored a B-day surprise for Ilana today along with Sarah, Ian, Gillian, Evelyn, Scott, and I. Nice glaced salmon with shrimp, yam and kale salad, spinach salad, fruit salad, and almond tort with fresh whipped cream and stawberries for dessert. However, to backtrack....Passover. As you can see it was a crowded multi day event.
The usuals were all there. The cousins, Sarah and newly appointed "Dwice" per baby Alden.....always happy...
Me and Melie Sad, as we got sat at the "kids" table.
Uncle A, representin'
With nobody apparently paying attention to Grandpa. I guess the baby was just too entertaining to properly enjoy tear drenched bitter herbs. But I'll let Ilana tell you all the Alden stories.
We did the traditional "stair" pictures, but Ilana took all the good pictures. Mine are all too normal.
After Sedar, Friday night I hit the Town with Melie, group of her friends, and Cousin Sarah. Only took one picture. Here's Melie and her friend Jess.
