France/Spain Vacation Part III- Barcelona

After 3 days in Sevilla, Alex, myself, Al's friend Chelsea, and her boyfriend Antonio fly up to Barcelona for a long weekend. Barcelona was quite a bit colder than Sevilla (but still leagues warmer than France). The street of Barcelona were a bit wider than Sevilla and much more cosmopolitan, but still a blast to walk around in.

We rented a 2 bedroom apartment...and what that ended up being was a studio with twin single beds a pull out couch and a glass divider that only went 3/4 across the room. We spent a lot of time in the big open market. The seafood and meats were a photographers wet dream. Plus we got yelled at by some old Spanish patron (not even an employee) for taking pictures of food..."its food, not a photo." kids now a days, no respect for pile of goat heads.

Barcelona was basically, beautiful buildings, cool markets, cool street art, and lots of shoe stores. I've never seen so many shoe stores in my life. Spaniard women must love shoes. So here's a collection of shots...

Lastly, we went to a modern art musuem. Sorry Kurt, Modern art is really, really bad. They really have stopped putting much effort into it. blah, blah...breaking boundries, blah, blah question society......no, its just not...it's really just bad art.....But the building was cool.

We had a dinner at normal Spainard time 10pm, went to a great place and tired (and sick- makes flying really unfun) go ready for the 24 hour trip back home.
